01 Who we are
Stellaire Sign (the "Service") is operated by Reza Abtahian, doing business as Stellaire Web, a sole proprietorship registered in Québec (NEQ 2282607243), Montréal ("we"). Contact: info@stellaireweb.com.
02 Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent (the "Customer"). People who only sign a document sent to them use the Service under the consent screen shown before signing.
03 What the Service does
The Service lets the Customer upload documents, place fields, send them for electronic signature, and receive a signed PDF with a certificate of completion and an audit trail. We provide the technology; we are not a party to the documents and we do not give legal advice.
04 Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content of the documents you send, for having the right to send them, for choosing who signs, for verifying identities where your situation requires more than an email link, and for checking that an electronic signature is appropriate for your document. Some acts still require a notary, witnesses or a handwritten signature (for example notarial deeds and wills).
05 Acceptable use
You will not use the Service for illegal content, fraud, phishing, harassment, spam, or to impersonate anyone. We may suspend an account that does so, without refund.
06 Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in Canadian dollars, in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Applicable taxes are added where they apply. You can cancel any time from Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not refunded pro rata, except where the law requires it. We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies at your next renewal. Plan limits (envelopes per month, templates, seats, features) are shown on the pricing page. Envelope packs are one-time purchases: their envelopes are used only after the monthly allowance, do not expire while the account is open, and are not refunded except where the law requires it. The 3-day Pro trial is free, needs no card, can be used once per business and ends on its own.
07 Free plan
The Free plan is provided as is, with the limits shown on the pricing page, and may be changed or discontinued with 30 days' notice.
08 Your data
Your documents and data belong to you. We use them only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy policy. You can download your signed documents and audit trails at any time. After an account is closed, we keep data for 90 days so you can export it, then delete it, except signed records we must keep by law or that you ask us to keep.
09 Availability
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We rely on providers such as Netlify (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments) and an email provider.
10 Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under the Québec Consumer Protection Act or other laws that cannot be waived.
11 Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies.
12 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and of Canada. Disputes go to the courts of the district of Montréal, unless the law gives you the right to another forum.
13 Language
These terms are written in French, and this English version is provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.
